Getting Around

The Astronomy of Exoplanets with Precise Radial Velocities Workshop was held on the Penn State, University Park campus at The Hintz Family Alumni Center in Robb Hall. The Hall is a very short walk from College and Beaver Avenues, the heart of downtown State College.

Our poster boards are 46" x 46" (117 x 117 cm), so we strongly recommend 46" x 36" (117 x 91 cm) posters in either landscape or portrait orientation.

Reception and Conference Hotel

The opening reception and Wednesday banquet was held at the The Atherton Hotel, 125 South Atherton Street.

Because it is located in downtown State College, Atherton guests can enjoy the convenience of walking to any downtown shops or restaurants. The CATA bus system has a stop nearby and provides free shuttle service around campus, including all campus landmarks and sporting venues. The Atherton is within easy walking distance of the Hintz Center.

Rooms at the Atherton feature complimentary transportation to the airport, or anywhere within five miles of the hotel, which is most of State College.
