Masses of Extrasolar Planets

Our group has found 75 planets in our
Doppler survey of 1,300 FGKM stars, using the Lick, Keck, and AAT
telescopes. The mass distribution from this survey is particularly
valuable because our detectability of planets is uniform with all three
telescopes (3 m/s precision). So, the mass distribution of planets
seen in this plot has just one detection threshold, that associated
with the highest precision of 3 m/s.
